The Moon Cries Too Sometimes
The moon likes to sing when we all fall asleep.
She sings of songs that speak of cycles
Cycles of Life and Death,
Cycles of Love and Indifference.
Indifference makes her heart ache,
And so sometimes instead of singing,
Feeling helpless so far away from Earth,
But she does not know how much light she brings to the empty deep blue sky at night.
She does not know that when I feel helpless
Her seemingly cold and distant light,
Brings me warmth.
Although she is far away,
Her song still resonates in the hearts of those who know how to listen.
She is never helpless,
Because her moonlight helps me feel seen.
Are the same that slide down my cheek,
I know I am not alone.
We are not alone,
No one is,
Because her light shines
Everywhere on Earth,
